Benefits of Membership

If you are interested in bioinformatics, and are working in computing, life or medical sciences, you are invited to become a member of the Scottish Bioinformatics Forum.

Membership of the Scottish Bioinformatics Forum is free, and brings many benefits.

• The SBF promotes the expertise of its Scottish members both locally and internationally.
• It informs its members about relevant projects and funding opportunities and helps them to access relevant expertise.
• The SBF can also help with the matching of resources across Scotland, and provide advice on development strategies.

In addition, membership entitles you to direct access to our activities, resources, and to apply for SBF funding and sponsorship. Members may also sign up for our email forum, which allows you to discuss bioinformatics issues with a wide range of like-minded colleagues.
