Scottish Government

The Scottish Government is the devolved government for Scotland. It is responsible for most of the issues of day-to-day concern to the people of Scotland, including health, education, justice, rural affairs, and transport. The Executive is led by a First Minister who is nominated by the Parliament and in turn appoints the other Scottish Ministers who make up the Cabinet. Executive civil servants are accountable to Scottish Ministers, who are themselves accountable to the Scottish Parliament.
Scottish Funding Council

The Scottish Funding Council (SFC) allocates resources for teaching and learning, research and other activities in Scotland’s colleges and universities in support of the Scottish government’s priorities.
Scottish Enterprise

Scottish Enterprise is Scotland's main economic development agency, funded by the Scottish Executive. Its mission is to help the people and businesses of Scotland succeed and to build a world-class economy.
